Introduction of EPATS

What is EPATS?

EPATS is a project in which selected students arrange short-term overseas study tours themselves and travel the United States or European countries in order to develop their global perspectives on science, technology, culture and social affairs, and abilities to cooperate with people from different cultures and fields. They also share ideas and discuss in a group about science, technology, culture, history and social affairs related to countries to visit before and after the travelling.

EPATS have been received financial support from Hisao Taki, the President & Chief Executive Officer of GURUNAVI, Inc. He graduated from the department of Mechanical Engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology and is the former president of Tokyo Tech Alumni Association.
